JUST IN: Court orders PDP guber candidate to petition Nasarawa Gov-Elect via substituted service

The Chairman of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, Justice Abba Bello Mohammed, on Friday 12th April, granted permission to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer in the state's 2019 governorship election, Mr. Davematics David  Ombugadu, an order for substituted service on Abdullahi Sule, the Governor-Elect. Sule, who was the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, was declared the winner of the March 9 election by INEC. The Governor-Elect, who is the first respondent, is no where to be found. A strong loyalist of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Kabiru Ibrahim Dallah said:  “Engr. Senate Presidency: Coalition of Youths, Students Throws Weight Behind Lawan …..gives reason

   By Alex Uangbaoje, Kaduna Following the controversy over who become president of the 9th Senate, a group, Coalition of Youths and Students Organization in Nigeria (CYSON), on Tuesday throws their weight behind the candidacy of Senator Ahmad Lawan.The group, led by Usman Baba Kankia, at a press conference, said they are supporting Senator Lawan, considering his vast legislative experience acumen, intellectual sagacity, honesty, objectiveness and education, adding, “he is the right man for the job.” They argued that, the All Progressive Congress (APC) zoning arrangement is sensitive to National Unity and cohesion, saying, “the APC have endorsed Distinguished Sen Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan PhD whom came from the North-East geopolitical zone.””On this note, coalition of youth and students organization in Nigeria aptly decides to throw it weight and support to Sen.
