ABYCN BESTOWED A ROYAL TITLE ON MR EMMANUEL AKPAKWU AS WAKILIN MATASAN AREWA
The Leadership of Sir Ahmadu Bello Youth of Nigeria, it's patrons, advisers and stakeholders have announced the apporoval of appointment of the Traditional Title of Wakilin Matasan Arewa I.e Lover of the Northern youth to Mr Emmanuel Akpakwu, the announcement was made through the Director, public relations of the Council at the Centre for History Research and Documentation AREWA HOUSE In Kaduna on Sunday 7th July, 2019, late Dr Yusuf Maitama Sule of Kano was the last Wakilin Matasan Arewa whom have actively participated in the Northern affair and served as an elder statesman in Northern Nigeria, He died on the 3rd July, 2017, until today he is celebrated in the Northern Nigeria. Mr Emmanuel Akpakwu will be coronated at Arewa House in Kaduna on Sunday 14th July, 2019 by 2pm. The Council wishes to Congratulate Mr Emmanuel Akpakwu and his family for the Honour well deserved.
