Change and leadership in Nigeria

Change and leadership in Nigeria

In a strive to fulfill human needs as world’s largest black Nation, Nigeria’s 58 years has been a period of mixed happenings; the military coups, civil wars and other  social, political and economic instabilities.

Back from the issue of structural Adjustment Programme of 1983, Annulment of June 12 elections; the Obasanjos third term Agenda, there was never an issue that generated as many waves in Nigerian politics like the change slogan of 2015.

Several writers defined change in their own terms, but simply put change is a process of moving from one thing to another, it could be from good to worst or vice –versa while leadership is ideally service to humanity, but change in the context of Nigerian leadership is an agitation for effective governance. With respect to this, my write up will focus on the present administration and way forward. From available data, it could be discussed in three different perspectives.
