The former president of National youth council of Nigeria and also Executive Director centre for  Good governance and public Accountability  Comr. Abdullahi Abdulmajid join partisan politics and ready to run for member house of representative representing Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun federal constituency.
He made the official declaration yesterday via his Facebook handle after the eid prayer .

"I hereby officially declare to my dear friends and associates that I have joined the race to contest for the position of Member representing the good people of Offa/ Oyun/ Ifelodun federal constituency of Kwara State at the National Assembly .This ambition is driven by my passion to join the league of active citizens who have transited from speaking up about bad governance and its consequences in our society especially on young people to working the trenches of the struggle movements to participate in the critical decision making needed to achieve the liberation and emancipation of our people from the shackles of socio-economic and political deprivation engendered by long years of bad governance , oppression , marginalization , exclusion and lack of visionary leadership .
We have come to the realization that the Nigeria we desire will not be given to us on a platter of gold, we must rise up , dare all odds and strive for its realization . It is my belief that qualitative and impactful legislation is the bedrock of good governance and that’s my focus and purpose at the green chamber .
I therefore solicit for your prayers, support , advice and guidance to actualize this objective .
The vision of a better Nigeria that works is my mission ."

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
