The National Coordinator of the Association Comrade Hamza Muhammad Haruna of Bayero University Kano lamented that Alh. Auwal is an evergreen human being who touch the life's of many Nigerians in terms of scholarships, community development, societal development, youth and women empowerment among others which motivate the Association to present him with the certificate of excellence.

The speaker of the Association of Northern Nigerian Students Comrade Abdulmalik Zakari added that the award serves as a token of encouragement for him to continue with the good things that he is known for and also present his wife Hajiya Murjanatu Yakubu Auwal with a medal of confidence for her support toward her husband's achievement.

Alh. Auwal Khalifa in his speech appreciate the gesture of the Association for confirming him with the certificate of excellence and give thanks to God Almighty for the opportunity he has to help the needy which he did willingly without expecting any reward from anybody also added that this award will encourage him to do more from the little he has been doing which he consider as an obligation to himself.

AREWA YOUTH FOR LIBERTY (AYFL) Condemns DAPPMAN’s Actions, Declares Full Support for Dangote Refinery

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
