HYBRID FOR POSITIVE CHANGE (A COALITION OF NGOS)
TITTLE OF PROGRAM: INDEPENDENT CONCERT.
PROPOSED DATE: 30TH  SEPTEMBER AND 1st OCTOBER 2018.
VENUE: ZARIA METROPOLIS.
Peace concert as the name implies, is a program that seeks not just for the suspension of war, conflict, chaos and instability but also seeks to provide solutions that will help minimize international tensions, cooperation to fight climate change, resources scarcity, institutions to channel power rivalries, administer global public goods, justice to assuage grievances and frustration. Regulations to address inequalities and abuses of power, also seeks for a way to establish sustainable peace in the society.
The above listed problems will be address through the following events:
DAY 1. PUBLIC LECTURE
Public lecture: this program will be provided with different topics of discussion, where intellectuals will do justice to the given topics. We can have 3 to 4 topics on different issues ranging from peace, conflict management and also a topic will be on entrepreneurship development will also be delivered.
• Entertainment: this session will consist of different artist then there will be cultural display which different tribes will showcase their cultures. The tribes will consist of Hausa Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo, Baju, Atyap, Nok, Jaba among others. Then there will be a short drama interlude on the important of peaceful coexistence in the society.
• Exhibition: here different objects and products will be displayed and showed to people.
• Award session:  peace ambassadors and dignitaries will be given meritorious awards.
DAY 2. RALLY;
Here  some strategic locations in Zaria, possibly places like prison, orphanage homes will be visited along the line. Though a solidarity trek from Babban dodo to Emir’s Palace to greet our great father his Royal Highness DR SHEHU IDRIS CFR to receive his blessings, the we start the rally proper down to Aminu Square (Fillin Polo), along the way pamphlets will be shared, a brief lecture will be delivered, then informing people of the existence of the organization and the programs of the organization. Entertainment and other side attractions.
This rally will be done with the assistance and collaboration of some security agencies like Road Safety, Police, Civil Defense, Peace Corps, KADGIST (Vigilante), PCRC, Special Marshals. Other Youths organizations, women associations and groups will also be involved in this activity.
GOAL OF THE PROGRAM.
• Developing a learning community that challenges our usual assumptions and inspires new thinking about the underlying causes of global problems.
• Establish network of young intellectuals, researchers, leaders and policy makers who will work together to find creative solutions to the issues facing the country,
• Provide platform for sharing ideas, knowledge, skills and initiative.
• Develop actions, steps towards creating peace, including strategie

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs.
