AEM celebrates Prof. Ango Abdullahi at 80!

With beatitude and felicity, we at Arewa Elites Magazine offer our deepest congratulations to a mentor, an academician per excellence, a peace ambassador, a patriotic statesman and an advocate for a united Nigeria as he clocks 80.

As the Convener of Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi has done alot in ensuring the rejuvenation of the dignity and prestige of the North. A father and mentor he has always been to many of us who have chosen the path patriotism and advocacy for national and regional development. The North and indeed Nigeria at large has always been his priority!

We pray may Allah continue to preserve him in utmost health and wealth as we still have alot to learn. Continue to rip excellent fruits for you have sown nothing but excellence, Happy Birthday Prof. Ango Abdullahi (Magajin Rafin Zazzau).

AREWA YOUTH FOR LIBERTY (AYFL) Condemns DAPPMAN’s Actions, Declares Full Support for Dangote Refinery

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
