2019 IS A DIVINE YEAR TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE!

Solidarity greetings to the youth of this great country and Nigerians in entirety. I'm so happy as we all safely crossed the border of 2018 and arrived at our destination, 2019. I pray our new destination to favour all and sundry, and may 2019 usher a new dispensation of wealth, health, and security of lives and properties of every Nigerian.

It's needless to say that youth are the most populated portion of our population, and it's estimated that there are 67 million youth within the voting bracket. As a youth, I've been anticipating year 2019 for a very long time, not just for anything, but because it's a time we can right our rights, right our wrongs, and change the narratives where needed.

My anticipation of the year 2019 is genuinely high, atimes, I mistakenly write 2019 when I fill tellers at the bank hall, it's not that I can't wait, but I'm enthusiastic about the impact my PVC and that of millions of other youth would make, this impact wouldn't be a negative one, but a progressively positive one, one that would see every Nigerian as a stakeholder in the polity.

As we begin the year 2019, I urge all those that haven't collected their PVCs to do so as soon as possible, they shouldn't be complacent about the impacts they could make, a vote or two can make or mar the electoral process, and may also determine the winner or the loser. I therefore urge us to go out enmass and vote for the right candidates.

I would also like to use this medium to address our teeming youth. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be used as agents of political madness, thuggery, gangsterism, murders and assassinations, vote buying, vote selling, ballot box snatching or bluffing. Whenever you are contacted, tell them to send their own children too.

I urge us all to remain good ambassadors of peace, orderliness, a United Nation, and be advocates for good governance in the society. On this note, I wish everyone A HAPPY NEW YEAR, AND I PRAY EVERYTHING GOOD  THAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER COMES INTO FRUITION.

AREWA YOUTH FOR LIBERTY (AYFL) Condemns DAPPMAN’s Actions, Declares Full Support for Dangote Refinery

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
