PRESS RELEASE: SUSTAINABILITY OF  SPIRITS OF RAMADAN IS KEY, A PLEAD WITH MUSLIM UMMAH AT EID-EL-FITR.

The National Youth Leader of People's Redemption Party, PRP Comrade Wolimoh Olajide has rejoiced with Muslims across the globe on the celebration of the year 2019 Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to maintain the spirit of Ramadan.

Wolimoh, in a statement issued to felicitate with Muslims on the completion of this year Ramadan, said Muslims must learn to maintain attitudes that were imbibed during the fasting period.

According to the Youth Leader, “Ramadan has come to an end and we are celebrating the end of Ramadan today, I rejoice with all our Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world over the completion of Ramadan.

“Having fasted for 29 days, abstaining from certain characters and behaviours, we must learn to continue in the same manner after Ramadan. For 29 days now, we have abstained from immoral acts.

“We have always observed prompt time of prayers, we have engaged in acts of worship, reading the Holy Quran and giving charity. We need to continue in these acts not minding the fact that Ramadan is gone.

Wolimoh said, as Nigerians, we must learn to live in harmony, tolerate one another and see the nation’s diversity as a source of strength.

Therefore, it's important we demonstrate the lessons of kindness, tolerance and submission to the higher authority identified with the holy month.

AREWA YOUTH FOR LIBERTY (AYFL) Condemns DAPPMAN’s Actions, Declares Full Support for Dangote Refinery

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
