Uba Sani As Senate Committee Chair On Finance, Well Deserved – Rahma Uba

The appointment of Senator Uba Sani currently representing Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone as Chairman Senate Committee on Banking Insurance and Financial Institution is well deserved.

The Managing Director, MMT Nigeria Ltd, Hajiya Rahma Uba Ibrahim who expressed this in Kaduna, noted that the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has made a good appointment by putting a right peg into a right square.

Hajiya Rahma Uba Ibrahim, expressed her happiness with the appointment, saying that she believes Senator Uba Sani would live up to the expectations as well as use all his immense experience towards moving this sector to greater heights as well as, enhance the nation’s economy.

Hajiya Rahma Uba, noted that past governments that Senator Uba Sani worked with enjoyed working with him, especially because of his experience and he has contributed immensily towards the socio-economic advancement of Nigeria.

The MD of MMT Nigeria Ltd, prayed to God almighty to guide and protect Senator Uba Sani in the discharge of his responsibilities.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
