Coalition of Northern Groups throws weight at Chief of Army Staff

The group identify the achievement of the Chief of Army Staff as one of it kind in the history of defence in Nigeria especially how he coordinate the Nigerian Army to restore the peace of the country.                The Coordinator of the group Comrade JABIR AMINU Maiturare highlighted some of the achievement of the COAS on winning against the Boko Haram particularly the Northeast and some party of Northwest. The group also appealing to the President and other relevance authorities to look into the achievement and dedication of Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai as the Chief of Army Staff to renew his appointment or elevate him to the rank of Chief of Defence Staff if the constitution warrant. The groups also recognize Lt Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai as the BEST CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF Nigeria ever produced In the history of this country for his effort in creating more defense headquarters and reviving some of the facilities of the Nigerian Army like the Nigerian Army Vehicle Manufacturing Company,  Commissioning of the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital 44 Kaduna and many more.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs. Rather than commend and collaborate with Dangote Refinery in its efforts to ease the hardship caused by rising fuel prices, DAPPMAN and its allies, including NUPENG, appear determined to frustrate these positive strides.
