AbuFarik Support Organization is set to organize a skills acquisition training programme for the girl-child and women across the 11 wards in Sabon Gari Local Government of Kaduna State.


The programme is being organized in collaboration with the Arewa Charity Centre For Women and Girl Child.


Mallam Ibrahim Tijjani (Abu Farik), a chairmanship aspirant of Sabon Gari LG, is also expected at the flag-off of the occasion which comes up today, Sunday, May 2, 2021.


The venue of the event is Aminu LGEA Primary School, Sabon-Gari, Zaria.


A one-week programme, 300 female children and women are billed to benefit immensely from it, by learning trades such as catering, make-up and lots more.


According to the organizers, the skills acquisition programme was proposed to empower the girl-child and women.


“With this programme, women will be empowered. They will not have to create unnecessary burden for their husbands as they will be able to generate little income from whatever trade they learn to take care of some needs of the family.


“We are organizing this programme to support the chairmanship aspiration of our boss, brother and friend, AbuFarik. 


AbuFarik is a man who loves to empower his people. If given your vote, you should expect this kind of programme and more that will benefit the people of Sabon Gari LG,” the organizers said.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs.
