The desperation of the peddlers of misleading and malicious information about the person  of Rtd Rear Admiral Tahir Yusuf is becoming obvious and alarming by the passage of every week. Their pay masters would stop at nothing to ensure that a noble and well respected senior citizen of Nigeria like Tahir is taken down like a weak castle , but alas!  Their  failure is obvious and imminent. Their antics are not only laughable but disgusting.




A more worrisome side of the story is how these crass ignoramuses chose to stoop so low to the extent of employing fraud stars and 419ers to help them doctor a purported voice call alleging an arrangement to scuttle legal processes by diverting funds in tranches. Their resolve to include the Attorney General of the Federation and EFCC Chairman  into their petty allegations is perturbing, mind-boggling and highly delusional.




As concerned citizens who believe in credibility, we have verified carefully and found out that one of the closest members of the cabal is one Basira Watandi Yombe , who is looking for the downfall of the amiable Rear Admiral Tahir Yusuf at all cost; has been the one leading the clampdown to ensure that the innocent Admiral is nailed. We have received video and audio evidences where she was captured live  arranging the antics with a SAN who has helped them reach their present level of falsehood and assassination of Rear Admiral Tahirs Character.




We have no doubt whatsoever that their downfall is fast approaching since they have chosen to advance their malice to include the personality of the amiable Attorney General of the Federation and the EFCC Chairman. These are noble citizens who are well respected and have been impeccable in carrying out their mandates to ensure that we have a corrupt-free Nigeria we will all be proud of. The Rear Admiral has never for once undermined the authority of this country, he has at every point of request appeared before the law anytime he was needed, and has cleared his name of many allegation made against him.


Daily Nigeria is another road side news outlet that  has been caught in the web of journalistic irresponsibility and peddling of false information to the public on countless occasions. They were made to appear before the law courts on multiple occasions for charges of  assassination of character. They have been serially warned to verify their information before publishing or risk being banned, yet they have decided not to heed simple instructions. This singular mindless behaviour will not be excused and their acts will definitely have consequences in the law courts.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs.
