Senator Uba Sani: A Governor with the glory hand and golden foot

In every human affiliation, there will be that one person amongst all whose steps and actions always come with devine acceptance. Such men bring succour to the masses because Almighty Allah is pleased with them and He fronts for them all their lives in whatever they lay their hands on. It's more rewarding when such person is a leader not just an ordinary person because the fragrance of his God ordained glory will envelop the people he leads and glory melodies will always water their lips.


This best describe the glory already recorded by some illustrious sons and daughters of Kaduna State since the swearing in of Distinguished Senator Uba Sani as the Governor of Kaduna State. Below are the three most prominent and very attractive achievements recorded by noble Kaduna State citizens since the emergence of the new dawn championed by the amiable Governor of Kaduna State Distinguished Senator Uba Sani.


Rt. Honorable Abbas Tajudeen PhD as Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives. This achievement stand out amongst all as this is the first time a Kaduna State citizen is holding the highly coveted sit of the fourth citizen in Nigeria. More interestingly, the personality of the elected speaker tangles in tandem with that of Governor Uba Sani as the are both leaders who prioritize their constituency and constituents above personal gains, the more reason they scales through an election that was keenly contested with many casualties to the party in the state, yet they emerged different because of the overwhelming support of the many lives they have touched with their compassion and benevolence.


Major General CG Musa as the Chief of Defence Staff is something worth celebrating. Having your own citizen as the Chief of Defence Staff will give you more assurance to security of lives and property of adorable people of Kaduna State. I have known Major General CG Musa since his time at the Depot in Zaria and he is a very professional, highly decsipline and equipped for the job he has just taken up. This makes it worth stating without micing words that we will witness a more safe and prosperous Kaduna State. Recalling that the Governor himself is a person who as a Senator contributed immensely to the security operations in his constituency is another assurance worthy of all the hype.


Hadiza Bala Usman as the Special Adviser to the President on Policy is a right position to the right person at the right time. Although, many anticipated more owing to the vast experience of Hadiza, but without sounding ungrateful and understanding governance should make one to know that Kaduna have been once more rewarded with a sit very close to major policy outline and implementation of this present administration. To me I believe we have been duly blessed and loved by Almighty Allah with these appointments.


While basking on the euphoria of this heart warming news and while believing that more attractive appointments are on the way from the Federal to Kaduna State citizens, I implore the appointees to continue to  be good ambassadors of Kaduna State and collaborate well with the Governor to achieve his agenda of progressively developing Kaduna State and it's citizens. It's an opportunity to make difference, let's make it happen.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs.
