REJOINDER TO THE FALSE AND MALICIOUS ALLEGATIONS BY ONE ATIKU ISAH AGAINST THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF NTA

Our attention has been drawn to a series of false, ill-intentioned, baseless, and highly defamatory statements credited to one Atiku Isah, who has been parading himself as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) 2025, despite not having contested nor emerged in any credible or recognized process of the association’s election.

It is important to categorically state that Atiku Isah is an impostor, driven by selfish interests and a myopic agenda to mislead the public and manipulate the media for personal gain. His continued movement from one media outlet to another, making unsubstantiated claims of legitimacy, is nothing short of a desperate jamboree; one that the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has clearly distanced itself from.

We wish to unequivocally clarify that the Director General of the NTA has never had any interaction, official or unofficial, with Atiku Isah or his so called operations. Any insinuation or claim to the contrary is not only false but deliberately aimed at tarnishing the hard-earned reputation of the DG and the integrity of the NTA as a professional and national media institution.

We advise the general public, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to disregard the antics of Atiku Isah and his collaborators. NTA remains committed to promoting credible voices and upholding the highest standards of journalistic ethics and national service.

Signed,

Usman Baba Kankia,

Chairman ,

2025 NANS Inauguration Planning Committee.
