​Northern Youth Council of Nigeria Commends NTA DG, Abdulhamid Dembos, for Exemplary Leadership

​The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) today issued a statement lauding the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Abdulhamid Dembos, for his outstanding achievements and transformative leadership.

​In a press release signed by the President of the Council, the NYCN described Mr. Dembos's tenure as a period of remarkable progress and positive change for the national broadcaster.


​"The transformation of NTA under the leadership of DG Dembos is truly remarkable," the statement read. "He is indeed a builder and a father figure to the entire staff. His accomplishments will have a lasting impact on NTA and its employees, and we extend our heartfelt kudos to him for his excellent leadership."

​The Council specifically highlighted the Director-General's dedication to staff welfare, youth empowerment, and community development.


"The DG's commitment to these areas is inspiring. He is a true leader who has prioritized innovation, staff development, and community engagement, making NTA a more dynamic and responsive organization," the statement continued.


​The NYCN concluded by expressing its admiration for Mr. Dembos and wishing him continued success.

The Arewa Youth for Liberty (AYFL) strongly condemns the recent actions of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) against the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. We view this as an act of sabotage and outright hostility toward the Nigerian people, who stand to benefit greatly from the refinery’s efforts to reduce fuel prices and provide massive employment opportunities. Dangote Refinery has invested heavily in the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil sector, including spending over ₦3 trillion to acquire trucks that will ensure nationwide distribution of petroleum products at reduced costs.
