JAMB VOWS TO PRESSURE FROM NUNS REDUCE REGULARISATION FEE TO N5000
Ganiyya Abdulganiyyu AEM Report The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have vowed to pressure from the National Union of Nigerian Students (NUNS) demands, it should be recalled that immediately after the inauguration of the 2nd Republic of NUNS, the President have frown at the excessive charges by JAMB in the name of regularisation which cost Students an average of N13,000 when service charges are applied, the NUNS President in pursuant of this objective wrote a position letter to the Registrar of JAMB, an open letter and also held several high-level discussions with stakeholders to see that this needless fee was reduced to an affordable amount. JAMB after excessive pressure vow to this demand and have since made an official announcement to this effect, reducing the controversial charges to N5,000. NUNS under the able leadership of Amb. Salahuddeen A. Lukman will continue to struggle for a better deal for the Nigerian Students and masses.
